The Goal
Re-imagine a scene or character from a favorite book through your own sketches.
How to start

Gather what you need: sketchbook, pencils and a favorite book. Nothing else required.

Head indoors and draw: sketch, book excerpt, a character nobody has drawn before, a scene the book never describes.

Talk about what you made. Start with "How did you visualize that scene?"
- 4
Print the worksheet to plan it out and keep what you make.
Draw The Scene
Copy one sentence from the book at the top, then draw what you pictured when you read it.
Two people reading the same sentence almost never picture exactly the same thing.
If you want to push it further
- Read the passage twice before drawing anything
- Draw the part the words leave out
